Bristol International Airport (BRS) - Guide to Bristol (BRS) Airport

Bristol has an excellent public transport service and is well served by both trains and coaches. Much of the city can be seen on foot and walking is a pleasant way to explore the city. However, Bristol is undeniably hilly, so if you're defeated by the hills or travelling much beyond the city centre, you might want to consider using local buses, taxis or even hiring a car.

Bristol has two main train stations: Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway. It's possible to take trains to destinations throughout the UK including Bath, London, Birmingham, Exeter and Cardiff. It takes around 25 minutes to get to Bath by train and 90 minutes to London. It's also possible to take coaches to destinations throughout the UK from Bristol's bus station on Marlborough Street.

Bristol is served by several airports, the closest being Bristol International Airport although it's also feasible to fly to any London's airports and make your onward journey to Bristol by rail or road.
